SNS VIDYA MANDIR School celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Kargil War Victory in the school premises today. A special programme was organized to pay tributes to the heroes of the war that was held in Tiger Hills of Kargil in 1999. The program started with brief the about Kargil war by Dipanshiv of Class IX. Everyone remembered the Heroes who laid their lives to protect the country from intrusion of enemies. Each war hero was remembered for his supreme sacrifice and courage. Girls of class VI, VII, VIII & IX presented a mesmerizing group song. An emotional tribute to the great soldiers was paid in the form of a dance by the boys of different classes with message that the whole nation remembers them on this occasion and will remain ever thankful to them. Principal MS. Puneet Kaur motivated the children to do their best to safeguard the interest of the nation. She exhorted upon the students to learn, develop skills and be knowledgeable to excel in different fields of career and finally contribute in the development of Nation. She explained the theme of 20 anniversary of Vijay Diwas... Remember ,Rejoice And Renew. Remember the sacrifice of Martyrs, Rejoice the victory of Kargil and Renew the pledge to keep our Nation safe and strong. The programme ended with National Anthem and slogans " Bharat Mata kee Jai"
