Fathers day celebration

Father’s Day is one of those rare days when the father enjoys applause and the mother takes a backseat! When it comes to offering appreciation for parenting it’s most often the mother who is lauded! But it is delightful to observe the active participation of our young fathers and we decided to fete them thus!
This year school planned Father’s Day with a difference. 28th May, 2019 arrived and all our dear pre –primary children waited anxiously for their fathers to step through the gates of School.
Manager Trust sh. Rajendra Kakkar, Astt. Manager Trust Sh. Darshan Lal, Principal DBN MM Mrs. Sonika Mahajan and Sanaskaar Coordinator Ms. Sunna Sayal were also present in the occasion.
Harman and Nandita of class IX spoke about the role that fathers play in a child’s upbringing. She pointed out how much the children idolise their fathers and therefore the latter must be particularly cautious about the delicate bond.
The children presented a special programme which included dance and poems to express their affection for their super dads.
The fun games were a treat for the fathers, who had to exercise their minds to catch the clues!
A skit on dad’s love was also performed by Suraj of Class VII and lil toddlers which was appreciated by all.
It was a beautiful morning made of smiles and tears of joy and pride. Parents were extremely proud of their children.
Speaking on the occasion Manager, Sh. Rajendra Kakkar and Astt. Manager Sh. Darshan Lal appreciated the role of parents in making father's day celebration a success. They emphasised that these programmes in the school help children to recognise and appreciate the contribution father in shaping children's life
