SERVICE: To make the students aware of various species of fishes and other aquatic animals, SNS VIDYA MANDIR on Friday organised a field visit to the Aquarium for the students of class IV.
The Aquarium is an eco-friendly place in which water dwelling animals and plants are kept.
The students learned about different aquatic flora and fauna for the purpose of conservation, education, research and recreation.
SKILL: Art is not only fun, but also innovative method for developing vital skills , behavioral skills, cooperative learning, cognitive development and a link to mathematics.
Children need healthy, harmonious, rhythmic, and non-competitive movements to develop their brains. Keeping this in view students of class II and III did an activity called glass paintings in which students draw and colour different pictures on glass. The children of class I were made to do various activities to help them improve both fine and gross motor skills and thus explore the world around them.
Today the tearing and pasting was one such activity. They pasted bits of paper in the picture of a umbrella.
SPORT: Kabaddi match was organised for classes IX and X. They were divided into two teams Team A for X class and Team B for IX class. At the end match ended with draw. Both the teams were happy while playing Kabaddi match.
STUDY: To motivate students to take keen interest in enriching their vocabulary, pronunciation skills and to become effective and impressive communicator, School organized an activity called SPELLATHON for students of class V, VI, VII & VIII. This activity was divided into over four rounds. All participated with zeal and enthusiasm.
