Red Cross Day, is celebrated all over the world and is observed on May 8, on the occasion of the birthday of Henry Dunant, the founder of International Red Cross Society. In SNS vidya mandir students were informed about this special day and they were briefed about the reasons of its celebration worldwide.A special morning assembly was conducted in which Saksham of class III shared beautiful poem on world Red Cross Day and a skit based on 'Rakat ( blood) daan Maha daan' was presented by the students of class VI, VII and IX which was appaulaed by all. The students were motivated to take pledge to help needy and humanity.
