BAISAKHI AND RAMNAVMI CELEBRATION

The school celebrated Baisakhi and Ramnavmi-the birth Anniversary of Lord Rama with traditional fervor and gaiety. The function commenced with chanting of mantras bhajans by the school choir. Melodious bhajans were sung by the students with religious fervor. Ishita Sharma of class IX enlightened the importance of Ramnavmi. Baiskahi was also celebrated with great joy and the colours were reflected in a special way. The students
were briefed about the process of harvesting. Rakhi of class X spoke beautifully on Baisakhi. Dressed in a typical punjabi attire students danced to the tunes of Bhangara. The school was decorated with different props. Principal Ms. Puneet kaur highlighted the importance of festivals. She motivated students to learn discipline and follow the path of Rama. She said that while celebrating Baisakhi,we should always remember the hard work of farmers and be thankful to them for providing us food.
