The school celebrated Mahavir Jayanti the birth anniversary of Mahavira 24th and the last Tirthankana( teachingh God)of Jainism. A special assembly was conducted in which the biography of lord Mahavira was presented before the students through different speeches. The school choir chanted a prayer in the name of Mahavira. Tanvi of class IX highlighted the teaching of Lord Mahavira. The Principal of the school Ms. Puneet Kaur while addressing the students stressed that we all must inculcate the teachings of Lord Mahavira into our life and take pledge that we all will follow the path of non-injury, truth,non-stealing, non-adultery and non-possession. Class teachers also discussed the importance of Mahavir jayanti and the teachings of Lord Mahavira with student in their respective classes.
