Skill Saathi counselling Workshop was held at SNS Vidya Mandir school School, Talab Tillo Jammu under the auspices of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Skill India is a campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 15 July 2015 which aims to train over 40 crore people in India in different skills by 2022. The workshop was conducted by JK Development Action Group for the students of classes V to X.
During workshop students were briefed about the skill India programmes also videos highlighting benefits of various Skill India Programmes was shown. They were told about the Psychometric test to be conducted for all candidates to know their skill and later stage counselling to select the job role as per their skill and aptitude.Principal ,teachers and students appreciated Govt's step of Skill Saathi and Skill India.
