SNS VIDYA MANDIR commemorated Toddler's
Sports meet 2022-23 with grand splendor.
"MANY WILL START FAST, FEW WILL FINISH STRONG" Sports play an important part in character building. In recognition of the need to inculcate the sporting spirit in children, a magnificent sports extravaganza was organised at SNS VIDYA MANDIR for kindergarten students. In which the students participated with the great fervour and manifested their athletic skills with an unimpeachable finesse.
The Hon’ble guests gracing the event were Ms Roopali Salathia (presently working as Physical Director Govt. Women College Gandhinagar Jammu), Manager trust Sh Rajinder Kakkar Ji, Deputy Manager Trust Sh Darshan Lal Ji. The Principal extended a floral welcome to the guests and dignitaries. The mega event commenced with the lighting of the flame and releasing of balloons to mark the expression of joy and merriment. The ever sportive and enthusiastic kindergarteners of SNS Vidya Mandir thrilled everyone with their energetic and spirited dance performance. A great interest was observed among the students and parents.
The students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events ranging from hurdle race, musical chair, three legged race, chain race, backward forward, kick ball race, lemon race, flag race, balloon squeeze, pick n put race etc. The proud parents could be seen filled with happiness to see their child performing. What made things even more interesting was the Tug of war for parents. Parents enthusiastically took part in the game.
Principal Ms NEETU GUPTA inspired the children and parents with her short speech. There are hurdles to overcome in life and in sports. A sport is a very valuable learning ground for how to live your life in the best possible way. If studies is for the soul, sports are for the body. Sports enhance the free spirit of a child and the boundless potential to spread out their wings to explore the world around them- said the principal.
The chief guest awarded the medals and the certificates to the winners of various sports events and addressed the gathering. She emphasized the importance of sports in a child's life. The zealous parents gathered in large numbers, constantly applauded the participants of the field track displays. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks. The meet saw its culmination with the National Anthem.
